Plan Your Visit
So glad you're thinking about joining us.
Walking into a new church for the first time can feel awkward. Here's everything you need to know — from where to park to what to wear — so Sunday is one less thing to worry about.
When & Where
Sundays at 9 & 11 AM.
Both services are about 75 minutes long with the same teaching — the 9 AM is a touch quieter and the 11 AM has a bigger crowd and full kids programming. Either is great for a first visit.
1842 Cedar Hollow Road, Asheville, NC 28805
About 10 minutes from downtown Asheville, just off Tunnel Road.
Step by Step
Your first Sunday, walked through.
Pull in & park
Free parking surrounds the building. First-time guests can park in the spots marked with the maroon "Welcome" signs near the main entrance.
Stop by the lobby
A real human will greet you at the door, point you to coffee, and answer any questions. Look for the "Welcome" table if you have kids.
Get the kids settled
Our check-in team will get you a name tag and matching tag for your child. We'll text you if your kid needs you during service.
Find a seat
Sit anywhere — there's no "regulars-only" section. Worship lasts about 25 minutes, then a 35-minute message, then a closing song.
Stay for coffee
If you can stick around 15 minutes after, the lobby fills up. Pastor Mark and Pastor Tasha would both love to say hi.
No pressure, no spotlight
We won't single you out, ask you to stand, or pressure you to give. We're just glad you came.
Frequently Asked
Questions first-time visitors ask.
What should I wear?
Honestly, whatever you'd wear to grab brunch with friends. You'll see flannel, jeans, sundresses, and the occasional suit. There's no dress code — come as you are.
Where do I park?
Free parking surrounds the building. First-time guest spots near the main entrance are marked with maroon "Welcome" signs. Overflow parking is in the back lot — easy to walk from.
What about my kids?
Cedar Kids runs during both services for ages 0 through 5th grade. Our check-in process is secure: you and your child each get a unique tag, and we'll text you discreetly if they need you during service. Middle and high schoolers stay with parents on Sunday — they have their own thing on Wednesdays.
How long is the service?
About 75 minutes — roughly 25 minutes of music, 35 minutes of teaching, and a closing song.
Will I be asked to give money or stand up?
Nope. We won't ask you to identify yourself, stand, or give. We pass an offering basket but it's clearly communicated as for those who already call Cedar Hollow home.
Is the building accessible?
Yes — the main level is fully wheelchair accessible. We have reserved seating, a hearing-loop system, and large-print bulletins on request.
Can I just watch online first?
Of course. Our 11 AM service streams live on YouTube and Facebook every Sunday, and full sermons are posted Monday morning at our sermons page.
What kind of church are you, exactly?
We're a non-denominational, evangelical church. We hold to historic Christianity, take the Bible seriously, and try to do so with grace and humility. More on what we believe →
